Maison d’Fleur Weddings: Real Client Story + Behind-the-Scenes

Love knows no borders — and this story proves it.
When Josh reached out to Maison d’Fleur, it wasn’t just about ordering a bouquet. It was about celebrating something extraordinary: after years of long-distance, immigration paperwork, and travel between continents, his wife was finally joining him in the U.S.
They had waited so long.
She was coming from Thailand.
He was in Charlotte, North Carolina.
And this moment marked the start of their life together.
Josh asked for a bouquet that could speak on his behalf. Something joyful, thoughtful, and symbolic. His only request:
"Can you create something inspired by the American flag?"
We chose classic red & white roses and deep blue accents. Not just to match a palette, but to capture meaning.
Red for resilience and love.
White for a new beginning.
Blue for loyalty, distance, and devotion.
When Josh arrived to pick up the flowers, he told us more about their story—how many years they’d spent apart, how long they waited for her visa, and how much this moment meant to them both.
Later, he sent photos and videos of their reunion. Her first moments in America. The flowers in her hands. Their embrace.
Shortly after, Josh came back with even bigger news: they were getting married.
And they asked Maison d’Fleur to create the florals for their wedding.
We were honored.
From the bridal bouquet to the ceremony pieces, every flower was chosen with care. Every arrangement carried the depth of their journey — across distance, borders, and time. We got to be part of it.
What It Meant to Us
At Maison d’Fleur, we don’t just make arrangements. We help shape memories.
